Welcome to the official website for the New York State Showpeople's. We are a not for profit organization made up of people who are involved with the outdoor amusements business in New York State. The NYSSA was founded in 1977 with the intentions of working together to keep the Outdoor Amusements Business alive, strong, and better. Today our organization is 150 plus members strong and still growing. We are proud to say that we celebrated our 30th anniversary in 2007 and are looking forward to seeing the next 30 years and more.
Over the years, the NYSSA has continued to grow. This growth is because of our members beliefs in putting aside their individual goals to achieve the common goal of the industry. This has given the industry the strength and foresight necessary to continue their work into the next century.
